About

Thank you for visiting my shop.

Let me introduce myself.
My name is Kim In Ja Giovannini (Totter).
I'm an adopted Korean American, and have lived in the US all of my life, being adopted as an infant from a christian adoption organization.

After attending Northern Illinois University and earning my Bacherlor of Fine Art degree in Illustration, I began working in the graphic design arena for a chromatography company. I learned so much about computers and designed catalogs, data sheets, brochures, and even worked on website design.

From there, I moved onto a job in the craft graphic design world. Also a great learning experience designing for licensed branding and multiple big chain stores.

In that lengthy time, I met my husband in college and had our daughter. With her arrival, I began working from home designing embroidery patterns for an online company, as well, as opening an Etsy store (this was at the beginning of Etsy). I made waldorf-inspired dolls, quilts, handbags, and ornaments.

I continue to make these handmade items as well as doing computer graphic design for tees, etc.

My hobbies include cycling, cooking, knitting, playing my clarinet and learning the oboe, and self-teaching Korean writing/speech. I love to learn!
